<p><strong>Bhopal:</strong> On the backdrop of significantly rising Coronavirus cases in Madhya Pradesh, one-day lockdown has been imposed in cities of Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur. In its previous announcement, the state government also asked authorities to do thermal screening of persons coming from Maharashtra. Such passengers would have to stay in home quarantine for a week.</p> <p>Madhya Pradesh is one of the eight states showing an upward trajectory in daily new cases of Coronavirus.&nbsp;</p> <p>Madhya Pradesh on Friday reported 1,140 COVID-19 cases, taking its tally to 2,73,097, while seven deaths increased the toll to 3,901. Indore's caseload rose by 309 to reach 63.510, while that of Bhopal touched 46,383 with the addition of 272 cases.
